Let's create the right conditions for online therapy

I offer online therapy for those who cannot meet me in person in my office.

One of the key components of a successful therapy comes from the human connection between you and the therapist of your choice. Remote sessions can work when certain conditions are met to connect to each other ! Here are the most important ones.

Why do I offer online therapy ?

It comes from a personal and professional journey.

My personal and professional experiences of immigration and expatriation have taught me to be open about online therapy. I experienced the positive effects of it and I learned more about it.

Online therapy is an additional tool that gives you the support you need when it is not available around you. And... if I can help you wherever you are, this is great !

Who is it for ?

I offer online therapy for people who suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, moderate depressive symptoms, and some forms of trauma.

Online therapy is a way of breaking the isolation and receiving the benefits of psychological support if :

  • You work or live in a remote area,

  • Getting out of your house is not an option for you now,

  • You are required to travel (regularly) and wish to maintain your sessions with your psychologist,

  • Or maybe you're looking for more discretion in terms of accessing psychological support.

Online therapy can be done under certain conditions, including :

  • sharing the address where you are connecting from (non necessary for humanitarian workers and journalists in mission)

  • sharing a trusted contact to be reached in case of emergency (and with your consent),

  • sharing a phone number to ensure liaison in case the internet connection is faulty.

Find a place that ensures confidentiality

Find an in-door location, free of distraction for the entire duration of our session. A safe place where you feel comfortable and open to speak freely about what matters for you.

Chose a place and a time that suit you.

Take 5 to 10 min for yourself before the session begins

This time will allow you to shift your energy and connect to yourself with presence. On my side, I also take 15 min to 20 min before a session to get grounded and focused.

A good internet connection

A good internet connection will promote a good session and will prevent cuts in the communication. Public wifi is not recommended for online therapy. You need to connect from a device that allows camera and microphone integration.

Data Protection

I use a secured website for my online sessions. I will share with you a link. There will be no need to download an app. Just a click on the link and we will be in a session together !
